“Wounded Warrior Support Foundation" is founded by company Silknet
Our activity:
Our Mission is to service wounded soldiers serving in Georgian army at all times and their underage children, support their integration to new civil life as the independent members of society of full value, raise funds and ensure the worthy being of our wounded warriors.
The aim of the foundation is to take care of the following issues:
- Financing/co-financing of higher education and professional requalification courses;
- Medical support, improving health condition, provide relevant environment based on the type of injury (adaptation of living environment, construction of ramp, provision with necessary supplementary inventory)
- Medical support for their under-aged children, improving health condition, provide relevant environment based on the type of injury (adaptation of living environment, constructon of ramp, provision with necessary supplementary inventory)
- Other type of support;
It is of utmost importance that society can get united under common idea. Founding “Wounded Warrior Support Foundation” by Silknet and suggesting all members of our society to volunteer, is a clear message, that we all can be considered as supporters to fighters for our country’s sovereignty.
Often, we may not know in person those heroes, who used to fight for freedom of our country from the day of Georgia’s independence. Many of them gave their lives for the sake of freedom and their names will never pass into oblivion. But there are those, who defended our nation in wars for unity and freedom and they are back, living beside us. We are proud of them. Their existence gives us strength and belief that our main attainment – sovereignty, is being unshakable.
Silknets founded “Wounded Warrior Support Foundation” to support these people, who used to fight for freedom of our country at different wars. Involvment of society in this is truly valuable.
